The driver and his company face 18 combined charges after the driver filled out documents while driving with multiple defects.

This happened around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

According to Guelph Today News, a police officer was patrolling Hanlon Road when he saw a tractor-trailer pull off the shoulder of the road.
The officer stopped the truck to check on the driver’s welfare and found him filling out paperwork that should be completed before driving, including an inspection report.

The officer then inspected the vehicle and found several defects including several bald tires, low tire pressure and a bent axle causing the brakes to fail.
The truck was then towed and the driver and the company are being charged.
